What is the dovetail structure and why is it better than any other structure?

The dovetail structure is a method employed to join to adjacent pieces of wood together providing the strongest mechanical bond simply by the joinery of triangle shaped fingers. Without dove tail joints, the connection would be an otherwise weak connection. Pentwater Cabinet uses dovetail joints at critical connections for our cabinet, not just on the drawers like our competitors.
