Pentwater Cabinetry Cabinets, Inc., warrants to the original consumer purchaser* that our cabinets will be free from unnatural or avoidable defects in material and workmanship under normal residential usage for the stated warranty period, which begins with date of purchase by the Original Consumer Purchaser*.
*Original Consumer Purchaser means any of the following:
• a person who purchases and installs the cabinets in a residential dwelling owned by that person.
• any person or business such as a builder, contractor or developer that purchases and installs the cabinets in a residential dwelling owned by their client, under a construction or remodel contract. In such situation, this Limited Warranty may be further assigned ONLY to such client.
WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS
During the warranty period we will repair or replace, at our option, any cabinet or component which proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service. THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO DEFECTIVE PARTS AND EXCLUDES LABOR. The cabinet parts covered include:
Cabinet front frames Drawer fronts Shelves, trays End panels, tops, bottoms Doors Drawer bodies Back panels Hardware
Repair or replacement, at our option, of cabinet finishes which do not meet our product specification standards.
Replacement of missing cabinet parts or components.
Replacement of drawer hardware and/or door hinges used in the cabinets which are defective in materials and/or workmanship (Lifetime Limited warranty). Pentwater Cabinetry will provide to the original consumer purchaser, without charge, a new drawer guide or hinge to replace any defective ones, subject to warranty provisions. This warranty is a warranty of replacement only.
WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
Deterioration due to normal wear and tear.
Replacement parts or repairs when cabinetry is used in other than normal home use.
Replacement or repair of cabinets and/or components subjected to alteration, modification, misuse, negligence, abuse, damage in transit, abnormal use, abuse, extreme temperature or moisture levels, improper installation and/or handling, improper care and/or cleaning.
Storage situations where loading or use exceeds the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association testing and certification standards which are in compliance with American National Standards Institute A161.1-2012
Any labor costs or damage incurred in installation, removal, repair or replacement of cabinets and/or cabinet parts.
Service calls to correct installation of cabinets.
Repair or replacement of any products used or installed in conjunction with our products such as plumbing fixtures, countertops and appliances, as well as any labor costs incurred in installing or re-installing such products used in conjunction with our products.
Any use of our cabinetry or parts of our cabinetry contrary to instructions furnished by us.
Claims for characteristics inherent to real wood products, that may be perceived as defects, such as:
- Naturally occurring variations and differences in color, shade, grain and texture that are within our product standards and commercial tolerance.
- Naturally occurring mineral streaks, pitch pockets, and knots.
- Color differences between and among wood panels and parts.
Drawer guides or hinges which have been exposed to excessive loads or abused. Warranty does not include removal or replacement of defective drawer guides or hinges.
Damages from fire, flood or acts of God. Any incidental, consequential or other damages of any kind or nature.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state-to-state.
Except as otherwise required or provided by applicable law, this warranty is in lieu of all other expressed or implied warranties of any kind, including, but not limited to, merchantability, quality and/or fitness for any particular purpose or use. All other such warranties, expressed or implied, are hereby excluded.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

Proof of purchase (dated receipt) will be required at the time a claim is made. All claims must be approved in writing by Pentwater Cabinetry prior to parts being shipped or repairs started. Upon receipt of written authorization, replacements can be obtained by returning the defective cabinet or part, transportation charge prepaid, to:
